Elements of Victorian, country, and contemporary design mesh surprisingly well in this 3-bedroom up-to-date home plan with nostalgic charm.
The exterior is basically Victorian, with gabled roof lines, decorative shingles, an octagonal projection on the left, and a wide wrap around front porch on the right. Columns and railings have the clean, simple lines of a country style home, rather than the ornately carved woodwork seen in many Victorian porches.
Bowing to Victorian convention, all bedrooms are upstairs. The elegant master suite is a bright, half octagonal space featuring a private bath with glass enclosed spa tub, double basin vanity, oversize shower and access to linen stored in a huge walk in closet. The other two bedrooms share a dual compartment bathroom.
Downstairs, formality is confined to three rooms--the living room, dining room, and two story high foyer. A see through fireplace allows enjoyment of winter blazes from both sides, and another fireplace warms the spacious and informal family room.
Amenities in the thoroughly modern kitchen include a step in pantry, conversation bar and a utility room with clothes chute. Glass double doors in the bayed eating nook open onto a deck.

Second Floor Plan (if any): Shows the second floor in the same detail as the main floor. Includes second floor framing and details.
Foundation Plan: Shows the location of all concrete footings, floor beams, first floor framing, and foundation details. If there is a basement, a basement plan is included which shows all basement details. Foundation types vary; please call to confirm the foundation type of the plan you are interested in.
Roof Framing Plan: Shows roof outlines, conventional framing/trusses, beams, roof framing details, etc. Specific details such as fireplaces, stairways, decks, etc. Details are drawn at 1/2" = 1' scale, and appear as needed throughout the prints.
Building Section: Shows a cross-section of the home. Shows support members, exterior and interior materials, insulation, and foundation.
Electrical Plan: A schematic layout of all lighting, switches, and electrical outlets.
